Philosophy debates.

(1) Criteria for behaviour – (26/11/2023). Both scientists and philosophers are always debating whether mathematics is discovered or invented. It also raises similar speculations about our human languages. However, one thing is certain. Communication would be dysfunctional if our human languages are oblivious to reality. Natural laws are not entirely deductive (logic), but also equally referential (definitions). Incidentally, whereas a fact is naturally observed free from human interference, an inventions is not. Our human languages are equally legitimate as mathematics to evoke understanding of our perception and experience. Understanding any subject, whether science, mathematics, politics or music, is explaining it in your own words, unlike a computer.

(2) Cognitive basis of science – (26/11/2023). Physically we can learn counting by hearing, but measuring has to be visualised – the mental mode. Communication is possible by the sense of touch using the Braille, but not computation – physical mode. The sense of smell and taste have to be of verbal orientation – the emotional mode. The fundamental laws of nature necessarily have to manifest according to these three propensities of experience equally for the sense of completeness.

(3) The question of existence – (3/12/2023). How everything came into existence is something we can only feel and never know. Because it is the limitations to our human perception being unilaterally dependent on nature and cannot be possible otherwise. However it does not mean that feeling is being delusional, because it is vitally how life is possible.

(4) What is mindfulness? – Living in the past is attention seeking and in such cultures population overgrowth is likely to be hazard – as it is the situation with India currently. Conversely, living in the future is going on expeditions across the planet and in such culture population undergrowth is the typical hazard and this the very situation in Europe. But living in the present requires being in touch with your family, relationships and friends making possible peace and prosperity. Under toxic influences an otherwise normal person is likely to be inclined towards the future but not the past. Because in the real world time always flows towards the future and not the past.

(5) Nature of existence. – Living in the real world does not mean that the ideal is illusory. The ideal is the original standard and complying with helps us to not to repeat mistakes that are harmful to others or avoid the world affairs spiralling out of control. Dramas are illusory, though rooted in the real wold, and life has to be more than real for respite. If we are able to derive pleasure listening to stories involving crimes and violence then enjoying private lives cannot be dismissed as wishful thinking.

(6) An enquiry into the cases of witchcraft. – In the olden days they used to burn people at the stake accused of practicing witchcraft or sorcery on a par with religious heresy. But supernatural powers should they be possible by definition are physically unconditional and not conditional, therefore cannot be used to harm anybody. Unlike malice, miracles are what we normally conceive to be supernatural. This is the very grave example of popular delusion in its most perverse manifestation as well as being sheer travesty of human common sense on the part of the so called rationalists to consider such claims so seriously. The evil simply  cannot have the right or even the privilege to enjoy the endowment of supernatural powers as if they are somehow superior in species to others. In order to restore human faith in religion first we must purge this delusional thinking in the general public that supernatural powers can be used for malevolent purposes. In the gothic stories they portray evil persons possessing supernatural powers, but that is all the customary way of dramatisation bending the gender and species norms of behaviour between people. Recently (January 2024) a local protest group called “Justice for witches” have revived the case of the Pendle witches trial in Lancashire 1612 and demanded exoneration of the many people, mostly women, who have been executed having been convicted of this supposed crime. But there is always the hazard that such pattern of human affairs repeating itself in future. These epidemics of sudden change in patterns of behaviour exhibited by people in groups and region, but not for all times is the very evolutionary course of life on Earth. The frenzied situation of the Salem witch trials in 1692, New England, USA, is another example in history reminding us of the dark side to our human nature. I am trying to give a rational perspective to think about superstitious delirium in people being resurgent occasionally. Suprisingly enough when people were set on trials under the suspicion of witchcraft the legal authorities were claimed to have real scientific evidence that prove their guilt without giving oneself to the benefit of doubt and at the expense of the innocent as they were sacrificed in the experimental procedures that were devised for the purpose. In other words if the accused survived the physical experimental test they are guilty and if they didn’t they are innocent. One typical way was called witch swimming.  It is blatant psychopathic indulgence that devalues the lives of people and as it happens while being legitimatised by the common public. This example of human mentality highlights the issue how people can pervert science, like they do with religion, to satisfy the unnatural needs of some people. Because witchcraft anywhere in the world in its original cause has nothing to do with any specific religious belief, but considered to be of genuine scientific value or even as a pastime in their backyards whenever there is the full moon. Some people are psychological prone to think that the Earth is flat despite scientific evidence and it has nothing to do with believing in the existence of “God” as such. They just confuse their superstitious beliefs with intelligence.

(7) Political view – Forensic analysis of human behaviour at all levels is vital for decision making. Both thinking and evolution of situations take time. But the ethical criteria are free from any conditions and of permanent consequence. Psychologically ensuring if people exceed their capacities financially, sexually and physically vying with others we can expect all sorts of problems such as mental health epidemic, unstable migration, growing poverty and also flaring cultural hostilities.

(8) Philosophy point – Patriarchy in any form, whether it be religious or Darwinian theory of evolution, literally demands men to be sexually aggressive and women submissive. This is the only point where religion and science agree indisputably killing any hope to our human existence. This is something that is profoundly paradoxical about the real world we are living in where both men and women are hopelessly trapped. Perceptual issues are originally at the personal level prior to how we think the universe can be explaining the state of crisis the world is in presently.
